Mya Alers is a Speech Pathology and Linguistics student at the College of Staten Island with a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to pursuing a career as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Through her experience at The Sensory Studio, she is expanding her understanding of both speech and occupational therapy while gaining valuable insight into the behind-the-scenes operations of a pediatric therapy practice. She is eager to continue learning, growing, and developing the skills needed to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Mya enjoys creating lasting memories with family and friends, traveling, and reading books from a wide variety of genres.
