Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware in 2005 and her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Seton Hall University in 2009. She brings a diverse background to her work, having gained experience in outpatient care, subacute rehabilitation, assisted living, orthopedic upper extremity rehabilitation, and homecare before specializing in early intervention and pediatrics in 2016.
Sarah is passionate about helping babies and children reach their fullest potential by addressing their sensory, developmental, and emotional needs. She strongly believes in the critical role that parent education and involvement play in a child’s regulation and progress, and she works closely with families to build strategies that foster co-regulation, confidence, and connection.
In addition to her pediatric OT work, Sarah has explored energy-based modalities, including sound healing and Reiki, which are closely linked to sensory regulation. Her interest in energy work grew from witnessing its profound effects, not only during sessions with babies and children but also with adults she works with in these modalities. This connection reflects her belief that sensory regulation benefits everyone in the family, not just the child she is working with.
Sarah’s dedication to nurturing both children and their families, paired with her holistic and compassionate approach, makes her a trusted partner in helping families thrive.
