Farwa attended SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University where she received a Master of Science degree with Honors in Occupational Therapy. Having worked with diverse populations in various settings such as NYU Hassenfeld’s Children’s Hospital, NYU’s Neurorehabilitation clinic, and the Department of Education, Farwa has gained invaluable clinical experience. Farwa finds great fulfillment in educational pursuits and actively engages in research. In fact, her research on executive dysfunction in school-based practice was not only accepted but also presented at the 2022 NYSOTA Annual Conference. Farwa sees occupational therapy as a gateway to endless possibilities, constantly striving to empower her little patients and help them reach their BIG potential. In her free time, Farwa loves watching movies/tv shows, reading books, and spending time with her huge family (one of six!). If she could have any superpower, it would be to heal people and stop time.
