Farwa Qaiser OTR/L

Occupational Therapist/Director of Technology

Farwa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Wagner College. She then attended SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University where she received a Master of Science degree with Honors in Occupational Therapy. Having worked with diverse populations in various esteemed settings such as NYU Hassenfeld’s Children’s Hospital, NYU’s Neurorehabilitation clinic, and the Department of Education, Farwa has gained invaluable clinical experience. Her dedication to integrity shines through in every aspect of her work, be it her interactions with patients and colleagues or her relentless pursuit of professional growth. Farwa finds great fulfillment in educational pursuits and actively engages in research. In fact, her research on executive dysfunction in school-based practice was not only accepted but also presented at the 2022 NYSOTA Annual Conference. Farwa’s love for OT stems from the importance of seeing the whole person and being able to work on practically anything! She firmly believes in tailoring treatments to the unique needs and goals of each child and their family. Farwa sees occupational therapy as a gateway to endless possibilities, constantly striving to empower her little patients and help them reach their BIG potential. In her free time, Farwa loves watching movies/tv shows, reading books, and spending time with her huge family (one of six!). If she could have any superpower, it would be to heal people/stop time/fly/invisibility/super strength (she refuses to pick just one).
