Julia is born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She attended Seton Hall University and completed their 3+3 Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Program. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Science with a minor in Social Work in 2020, then going on to complete her master’s degree for Occupational Therapy in 2022. Her high school and college experience involved many volunteer opportunities with special needs children and adults. During her graduate studies, Julia experienced working with both special needs children in D75 schools, as well as adults in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation at NYU Langone Hospital and Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center. Following graduation, Julia continued her passion working with the pediatric population in both private and public school settings, as well as outpatient facilities. She also has experience providing early intervention services. Julia values supporting children towards their goals, promoting them to be as independent as possible, and is very excited to bring her creativity and passion to the Sensory Studio.
