Samantha received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Kean University in 2012. She then attended Brooklyn College where she completed an Advanced Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. In 2015, Samantha received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Long Island University (Brooklyn). In addition, Samantha holds a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities certificate from The New York State Education Department. Her graduate school experiences included pediatric populations in public elementary-middle school in Staten Island, New York, and a public high-school in NY, NY. Since graduating, Samantha has been working for The Sensory Studio. She became a clinical supervisor in 2021. Samantha has been servicing early childhood, preschool, and school-age children in both school and outpatient settings. She has experience working with children with receptive and expressive language impairments, developmental delays, auditory processing disorder, oro-myofunctional disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, Cleft-Palate Rehabilitation, autism, feeding therapy and behavior management. She is trained in PROMPT therapy, which she incorporates into her assessment and treatments. Samantha is passionate about building relationships with her clients and families. She values mentorship, collaboration amongst providers and outside professionals, and is eager to continue advancing her clinical skills within this field. In her free time she enjoys traveling and making memories with her husband and two children.
