In June of 2023, Rebecca graduated from Stony Brook University, where she received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Rebecca has experience in a multitude of settings including outpatient orthopedics, neuro rehabilitation, sensory and ABA therapy. Additionally, she completed a Fieldwork experience in an elementary school with the NYC Department of Education, taking a leadership role in conducting sensory-based sessions through the Sensory, Exploration, Education & Discovery (SEED) program. During the final semester of her graduate program, Rebecca, along with two colleagues, completed a capstone project. This project focused on training the staff of a local Long Island wildlife refuge in the integration of sensory elements into their curriculum, tailored to best meet the needs of neurodivergent learners. Rebecca is very excited to begin her career with the Sensory Studio, and eager to apply her skills in this incredible field.
