Speech Language Pathologist

Marie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at the College of Staten Island, with a minor in Psychology and Disability Studies. She then attended The College of Saint Rose in Albany, where she received her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Since graduating, Marie has worked in a private preschool and currently works in an elementary/middle school providing services for students with autism spectrum disorder, pragmatic difficulties, complex communication needs (augmentative and alternative communication users), behavior difficulties, speech sound disorders, and receptive/expressive language disorders. Marie holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed from the New York State Office of the Professions. In addition, Marie holds a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities Initial certificate from the New York State Education Department.
